Employment-related hearing tests are carried out for many industries. For most employers in industries exposed to noise, it is a WorkSafe requirement that all employees have pre-employment hearing tests to establish their base level of hearing. They should then be tested every 2 years thereafter.

Individual workplace and pre-employment hearing test procedures are the same as Mobile Hearing Test for Adults, which can be conducted at your home or your workplace. Please note that we do not use soundproof booths for workplace testing, so the testing area at your workplace needs to be relatively quiet (ambient noise level not significantly higher than 30 dB).

$160 per appointment for individual appointments. If you have a referral from any medical practitioner such as a GP or an ENT, you can claim back $48.35-$58.5 from Medicare.
